Newbie Question
« on: February 18, 2011, 01:09:02 PM »
I was thinking about buying a (Humminbird® Fishfinder 596c HD DI Sonar Fishfinder)I was wondering if I mounted it up front (transducer) on the trolling motor will I get a good read of the DI going slow or do I need to be going faster?

I have not played with the true DI units but I get really nice images on the DI view from my SI unit on the TM.  Remember that you will need to be moving to get a good pic.  If you are anchored down the image will remain static.
