« on: February 23, 2017, 09:13:34 AM »
I have a 798C SI at my console and a 788CI at my trolling motor, do I need to buy two NAV + SonarChart SD cards from Navionics for each one of my fish finders OR can you buy one SD card and load NAV+ SonarChart on both fish finders????

That's interesting, as I had the same set up. I just used two cards, then I up graded to a 899 on the bow and used a auto chart pro. The up grade to the auto chart pro is unbelievable. I still use the Navionics in the console. I was less than pleased with even the high end card from them. You go out and record them send it to them. To answer you question I am sorry I never tried that.

I finished chatting with Navionics. They said I could move the SD card from one unit to the other as needed. That would be a pain, therefore I would need two SD cards. Because the units came with "Navionics Charts Inside", there are no updates or discounts for the units. Exp. the "Get  50.00 Back". O, Well.

There were a few select models of a few units that came bundled with a Navionics card ...

That specific Navionics card (from the bundle deal) can only be used in a unit that was also in the select few in the bundle deal ...
