Here is a Humminbird Comparison Chart of the 1197c, 997c, 987c, 798c, and 797c2. (Viewed as webpage with active links.) 

This does not take into consideration packages like NVB which of course includes the Navionics Charts built in.

After 17 years of using a Humminbird Widescreen I have moved up to a 798ci SI Combo.  (still have the widescreen on the boat)  It's going to take a lot of using to out the new 798.

Question.  Can someone tell me the difference between the 798c SI and my 798ci SI?

The ci has an internal GPS and the c requires and external GPS.
