GPS Receiver/Sensor
« on: February 14, 2016, 03:39:12 PM »
I'm getting ready to install the Bow Mount 360 Imaging on my boat, I have an 1198 at the bow and a 998 at the console and will run everything through the 5 port Ethernet Box. Can I use the sensor that comes with the 360 for my GPS and mapping or do I have to use the sensor I currently use for my 1198 and the sensor for the 360?

Thanks,
Kevin

You should use the one that came with the 360 because it is a heading sensor and it shows the direction that the boat is traveling.  Keep your other one as a backup.  good to have if needed.

The waypoints won't show up correctly on the 360 unless you are using the HS GPS......Look for a YouTube video from Pickwick Marine or Dough Vahrenberg about how to set it up.
**Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile**
