598 ci si hd replacement parts

ok, got a 598 for my birthday, thanks son. thing is I have two boats.  I've located some places to get different parts, mounting brackets, power wires. The transducers have me confused. I have seen several different ones for sale, it looks like the xnt 9 si 18t is the one I need, but there is another one listed on amazon that says it will work with the 598, and it's $100 cheaper? this will be a trolling motor mounted transducer. I want to share the unit between the two boats but I want the same setup on both. Any suggestions for part purchasing?

You have a few options for an SI xducer for your 598 in a trolling motor application ...

The stock XNT 9 SI 180 T can be used on a TM with this adapter ...

This is the replacement trolling motor puck housing in the same compact SI ...(this one has extra shielding for possible RFI) ...

The XHS 9 HDSI 180 T can also be used with your 598 ...and it will give somewhat better SI images because of the longer SI piezoes ...
