I just get the new 2011 Humminbird 597ci HD DI Combo - is looking great - see some pics with this unit.

Put an SD card in the unit and take snapshots. then post the snaps in the gallery.
That is a good set of pitcures.
I think with a snap shot viewed in an external viewer you will see even more detail.

I will put some pictures more, but I just get it. As you can see this unit is seating now on
test stand.. I hope in a few days I will have some "live" snaps.

NM, take the snapshots and then look at them in paint on your computer.  You can always file them as jpeg and make them available in other picture viewers.
You will be amazed at the difference on your computer than just the small screen on the unit..
