Title: software update question

Hi, I'm  new here  and  needing  some  help  please. I have  a  1197 and  when  I  updated  the  software  it is now very  pixelated  on 2d sonar. I'm  trying  to  go back  to  older  software, can  I  get  it  from  this  site??

That would depend on what software version you are looking for.  I think that most of them are posted here:

Do not load a version older than what was originally in the unit when it was made or you could lock the unit up (“brick it”) and it would have to be sent into Humminbird to be fixed.  Do you know what version you are looking for?

Thanks!!! I was able  to  get  the  software  I needed  from  here and  at least  in simulation  mode it looks  great  now!!!!!! I'll  try  it on the  water  tomorrow. THANKS.... ;D
