Second time out on the water with my new 898 today and broke my transducer. I took it out a couple of days ago and the transducer kept kicking up on me. I have not had time to troubleshoot the problem but decided I would fish a little this afteroon. I did not plan leave the bay I put in at so for some stupid reason I thought it would be a good idea to run a screw through the metal mounting bracket into the upper portion of the transducer mount to keep it in place until I good fix it. I know... stupid decision. About an hour into the trip we got a call from a buddy that was broke down and needed a tow so off to the river we went. Well if you fish Ky lake you now how it gets with the wind blowing and combine that with all of the Memorial Day traffic and you are in for one hell of a ride. Long story short I now need a new bracket and obviously a new mounting location. I did a search but found nothing so if anyone here has a Triton 186 could you help me out. Where did you mount, pictures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the same boat mounted it per the picture on the Humminbird website. They have several pictures under installation. I believe it was in FAQ section. There is one picture that has Triton mount. Hope this helps.
