Title: Linking Helix units
Post by: LocoD on March 28, 2016, 08:40:52 AM
I am considering a new Helix 12 SI on the console and a Helix 10 DI on the TM. Can I link these and view the SI on the DI unit and vice versa ? Thanks.

Yes you can link them together but you will be limited in what is shared between the two units.  The Helix 10 SI can view transducer information from any of your sources (2D, SI, DI, 360 imaging) but the Helix 10 DI will not be able to view SI images from the Helix 10 SI transducer.

The DI unit can share the SI transducer..... and the SI unit can share the DI transducer....The selections will be in the network setup menu.

2d CHIRP from the HELIX 12 cannot be shared ...altho setting the HELIX 12 to fixed frequency 200kHz/83kHz can be shared ...

Doug shows several sharing scenarios in the video below ...
