Title: Helix 5 and Autochart
Post by: Touque on July 31, 2016, 12:54:03 PM
I have AC for a couple of years and had limited success but I determined to get it going (that's another issue!).  I just picked up a Helix 5 (for my small inland boat) as it was on sale and one of the selling features was it is AC compatible. Now I bought the Helix 5 I see it only has a micro sd slot. So my question is how do I get the standard sd AC card to work?
One more question while I have your attention, what is Humminbird PC?

The current versions of the AC software come with a micro zero lines SD card .... and then you put it in an adapter if you want to use it in a regular SD slot.......I don't know if Humminbird will do a swap for the SD card type or not.  You may have to give them a call.

Humminbird PC is waypoint management software and should be available in your account once you register your Helix unit.......It is a good idea to use that software to back up an manage your waypoints.

There is also an update for the Autochart PC product that will be available in your account if you register that software.

On your SD make sure that the card is not just an adapter with the micro SD card inserted in it.
