Title: first time converting recordings getting an error message

Hi Ya'll, I hope this is an active thread, the last posts was a while ago. Anyways this is the first time I've tried to convert a recording and view it with Yellow fin. Wen I try to convert the Dat file I get an error:Incorrect CheckBit35 at Position 35 message. Am I missing something with this, or is there another way I can view this recordings. thanks

You could try to view it with Humviewer as this does not take any conversion. Also check the length of the recording.  Sometimes large files do not convert completely or correctly.

I'm getting same error no matter what size file, because of  latest 998 software update. HSBI converts all previous versions still. Converter file needs an update to the newest 998 software.
