Am I able to add a radar to my 1197si?  I thought I saw that I could somewhere, but I can't find it now. Thanks

No you cannot.
Radar only works with the ???8 units.

The 1197 is a legacy unit (old stuff).

The Radar needs the higher Ethernet connection speed that the newer units have.

Well crapola, thanks. I was on the fence between lowrance and HB as I have both on the boat. Looks like I'm leaning hard to lowrance now since that is my only option. :(
