1197c SI Image and Specifications

The 1197c SI Combo features a massive 10.4" display, Side Imaging and DualBeam PLUS sonar with up to 8000 Watts PTP power output, GPS Chartplotting and advanced Fishing System capabilities. Includes unit cover and in-dash mounting kit. NVB - Includes Navionics Gold and HotMaps Premium Charts pre-loaded.

The 1197 units now come with the GR50 GPS Receiver.  This started back in about August of 2008.

I am going to go thru and make note of the changes.  These were taken from the Humminbird website and I can adjust them.

what is the round metal socket in the center of the unit for? has about 6 gold pins can not find it in the manual

I lost my transducer the other day for my 1197c.
What are the options now for compatible transducer for saltwater use for this unit?

On a side note these were promoted to work/have future expansion, so what is now available to go with it?

1197 came stock with the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T  ...
