Title: Problems with Version 7.090 on 898c HD?

Any one getting total freeze like I did? I have to unplug the unit to unfreeze it, it even freezes when I would try to restore defaults. My other 898c worked fine.

Well I plug in my 12v cable to try it off the boat and it freezes on the first screen that comes up on the unit after I get in the simulator mode. I only works if I get into the normal mode.
 Reinstalling the older software did not change anything.
 Called Humm, they want 280.00 for me to sent it back to them.

I loaded 7.090 and it works on my 1198. I only have 3 hours out on the water with it but no problems to this point. I posted with 1198 because nobody had come back to you. Bob

1198 with  new update as well no issues so far

Problem resolved, sent unit to Humm.
