Set the unit from the main menu to advanced mode..
To make side image recordings;
Go to the menu for recordings (it should be the last on the right) and then select start recording when you want to stop go back to the menu and select stop recording.

Do you have the handbook or the Cd for the unit?

Also check this in the FAQ's from Rgecy....  http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/index.php?topic=738.0 (http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/index.php?topic=738.0)

Hello Geggen and welcome to the forum!

Make sure you have the record view visible. Store this view on one of the three preset buttons. If you want to do a recording, just hit the preset button, press the menu button and go down the the "start recording" tab. Press the left cursor button and the recording starts. To stop the recording just hit the menu button and go down to the "stop recording" tap.
Next press the left cursor button et voilá, you're done.

To review the recording, go to the recording view, press the menu button and use the down cursor to highlight the recording. Press the menu button and choose "start review" (or something like that).

TO review the recordings on your computer I recommend to download Hummviewer from Martin here:

Hope this helps!

Hope this helps and good luck
