I started a new project this morning. It is a tiny, flooded gravel quarry. I wasn't able to cover the entire pond in one outing, so some of the map is obviously missing.
What has surprised me, as I've never had this happen before, was that the contour map exceeds the custom shore line I created! The rainbow map stays within the shoreline confines but not the contour map!
I also find it interesting that even though I never entered into the adjacent arms of the pond, even the rainbow map "calculated" a depth for a portion of them????
Any thoughts on this?
