After buying a new 898c SI & getting a transom transducer, I contacted Humminbird, asked to switch transducers to use my 898 on the trolling motor. Within 5 days I had the correct transducer on my boat. I thought that was a really fast turn around. But then I had problems w/898 shutting itself down while looking at waypoints that were transfered from the console 997 thru the Interlink. Humminbird immediately had me ship it back when they could not come up with a solution that day. It was shipped overnight, Humminbird found the problem & had the unit back to me IN TWO DAYS! That is unbelievable service and I just wanted everyone looking to buy Humminbird or Lowrance, that kind of customer service is hard to beat and makes Humminbird #1. Thank you Humminbird.
