I have an ONIX on backorder and can't wait to get it and install it and my new Terrova. I am wondering if anyone on the forum has already installed an ONIX and if so are there any special considerations that I should take into account when installing. I know a lot of times with new products we figure out something after the install that we wished we had done earlier so I figured I would try to draw on the experience of users here.
Also if you have any special thoughts on how to install a Terrova on a Tritoon with the gate all the way to the front of the deck please let me know. I am finding it very difficult since I have to find a way to get the motor to drop in between the 3 toons and there is very little room up front. I thought about mounting the motor such that it would deploy to the side of the boat. So in essence it would deploy to the left side but in the front left corner. Not sure what implications this would have on the operation since the motor would not be deployed in the front center of the boat. But I assume this would still be better than trying to mount it on the back since it would still be pulling the boat and not pushing it. This might get away from the front gate and center toon issue and when stowed it would be across the front of the boat so no dock interference.

Just joined the forum and just got onix set up with Terrova, seeing it has been several months, I assume you have yours set up. We had someone help get it all installed along with an ethernet switch,- it has taken a bit but we are gradually starting to get it to function. wondering if you did all the updates and if you had issues? I have seen some post that there were problems after updating, so not sure if want to do right now. Do you use Lakemaster? Having an issue getting it to do follow contour- so if you use I could really use a little advise.
