Error message whenever trying to update sd card
« on: July 09, 2015, 06:48:44 PM »
Hi Guys, I'm new to the site and am having problems...looking for some help. I have a number of recordings on a regular sd card. I've uploaded to AutoChart pro, I've converted the files and see the map ready to load on my Humminbird sd card, but I always seem to get an error that the file is too large for the map. I've tried files that were under 100kb and some that were 50mb, but to no avail. I've changed my range from 500 meters out 7000 meters, same problem. I can see the finished looking map on pc just fine, just can't seem to upload it on my Autochart card. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jim

How many track points do you have?

at what step do you get that error from? when you click on create map or on the LakeMaster update button?

are you updating the custom lake directtly to your SD card or to local PC hard drive?

I'm not sure how many track points I have but I run into issues when I try to update the SD card. I can create the map ok on my pc, just can't seem to update the SD card.
