i have been using the autochart software for about two years with no problems and now all of a sudden i'm having an issue. when i import the recorded data into the program and hit "map data", it shows all of the data i recorded for the day but when i click on "create map", it only maps a portion of the recorded data and the majority is gone. i assume since the data is showing when i hit "map data", that means the 898 unit is working fine. i haven't changed any settings or anything. any ideas?

Are you sure you don't have some bad data ..... are you getting any problems with erratic depth readings?

It happens whether I'm on plane or on the trolling motor. The data shows up on the SD card until I click on create map, then it loses a bunch of it. I am going to try and attach the screenshot showing the path my boat took today. This is what it looks like in the autochart program when I click "import. You can see that the entire trail that my boat took today is on the card. I don't know how to post two screen shots together so I will post again what it looks like after I click "create map".

The first picture that I posted is actually the data that is left after I click "create map". This is what it looks like when I import the raw data into the program. This is the complete path that I took on the water today.
