FYI - If you are not already informed of the change, Humminbird.com (USA) has created a new website that went into effect today.  Unfortunately, the 'MY HUMMINBIRD' sign in section no longer exists.  Had both my units registered there with the S/N's and dates of purchase, etc. and it's gone.  Called and spoke with a customer service rep about it.  Was told there might be something in the works to retrieve the info at some later date, but as of now, nothing.
The older I get, the better I used to be!

WOW that's a step in the wrong direction if they don't have something to replace it.

Won't be a replacement or support for the 'My Humminbird' feature, but you can still go to Humminbird.com home page and cursor to the 'SUPPORT' title.  Slide down to 'Software Updates' and click on it.  It'll open to 'Fish Finders' where you scroll down to your 'Series' such as Helix, 1100, 900, etc.  Click on the series, scroll down until you find your model and click on it.

Also, re-registering isn't necessary if you've previously done so and had the 'My Humminbird.'  The customer service rep I spoke with told me that although their section doesn't have access to that data, it's still stored someplace on their servers and available to their technicians for warranty purposes, etc.  The 'Sign-In' option is for persons who have an actual account because they purchased HB products directly.

Here's the email reply I received to my inquiry about accessing my old account info;

"Thank you for contacting Humminbird Customer Service.
We apologize for the inconvenience however the my account webpage has been taken down, you can access software and register products using the Humminbird website and all units that you have registered still carry the warranty that they originally had. We do not have another site that you can see your previously registered products on.
If we can assist you further on this subject or any other Humminbird related questions please feel free email us again or contact our Customer Resource Center at 1-800-633-1468 to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
