hi all ,I am having probs with downloading my way points onto the laptop,is there a link on this site that has talked about the solution.it is saying laptop cant read card need some sort of program to help read it .has anyone had this prob ,I am using a mms/sd card 16gb.another prob that just arose is I have lost gps due to brass female plug on unit corroding ,as it is a usa model I have to send it back there ,is there an easier way to repair it .BLA aus wont touch American sounders,which is a pain in the ass. cheers AL from aussie

You will need to open an account with the HB website to register your unit (maybe you have already done this) ...
http://www.humminbird.com/Support/MyHumminbird/register/

After your HB account is activated and you have logged into your HB account ...enter your unit's serial number under your account ...

Then you will see the most recent available software version for your specific unit ...

And you will also see a download for Humminbird PC ...

HBPC is waypoint management software for editing, adding, and organizing your HB waypoints ...

After you have HBPC downloaded to your PC ...browse the Help file at the top of the program opening page for the HBPC user manual ...

And you can ask questions here also ...

I know of no way to repair the sockets in the head unit without sending the unit back to the factory ...

Let me know if you need contact mailing info for international and I will see if I can get Deb (from HB) to step in and help you with getting your unit thru the correct channels to get it fixed ...

hi rick I hope you get this ,I have been busy working and fishing and now have time to send unit away I registerd with hummingbird but when I wanted to contact then the site wouldn't recognises my email account in the confirm section ,have you a contact at the office I can contact to help me cheers AL
