Title: 998c HD SI not recognizing Autochart Pro SD card

I have version 7.090 on my unit and I've used Autochart PC to make maps and update the SD card. I see activity lights on my SD card reader when it's updating the SD card with the new maps I create but when I put the card in my unit, it's just a zeroline lake and no contours. I'm about to put version 7.510 on it but I really hate updating firmwares right before my walleye tournament next weekend. Any ideas?

Go into the main menu under the "Chart" tab ...

Cursor down to "Chart Select" ...

Make sure this is set to "AC" ...

I went ahead and upgraded to 7.510 and still wasn't showing contours. I went into the Menu - Chart - Chart Select and my options are Auto, ContourXD, and Right or Left Slot depending on which slot I had my card in. I selected that "slot" and still nothing. In the same Menu under Chart there are two options lower called Base Layer and Overlay, if I set either of these from Default to AC, it then show's up, but the next time I use my other map cards (Navionics or Lakemaster) and switch back to my Autochart card, the settings revert and I have to turn Overlay or Base Layer back to AC. Seriously not sure why they wouldn't make it recognize the Autochart SD card just like it does my other two cards. At least I now have "Jigging Mode" with this firmware upgrade, whatever that is lol. I'll have to read up on it. Just curious, does anyone elses Autochart card show up in the Chart Select Menu? Rickie?

You may be correct Bill about that setting being under the Base Layer ...

I was going from memory because I couldn't find the post from camohunter at bbc where he helped a guy with the same issue ...(I did remember he had to manually change the setting to AC to get the AutoChart layer to show) ...

And I think the AC layer has to be manually selected each time  ... I'm looking for where I read that also ...

Thanks for the link and the help. Your post on changing something under Chart tab is what got me headed in the right direction!
