Title: No 1199 ethernet port?
Post by: Randeye on September 19, 2014, 08:11:46 AM
I run an 958 on the bow, an 1197 on the console, and a 998 by the tiller with a 5 way ethernet port so they all can share data.   I replaced the 1197 with a 1199 but realized now there is no ethernet port on the 1199.  Any suggestions to link the three units?

The 1199 does have an Ethernet connection but the shape of it was changed from the previous type.  You now need an AS-EC-QDE cable to adapt the M12 type Ethernet connector to connector type that is now being used.  This change was so the Ethernet connector could be moved to the connector collector and the connection made at the same time as the power, transducer and external GPS Receiver.
