DI issue
« on: July 03, 2014, 10:19:38 AM »
I am new to the HB world and overall novice to bass fishing...with that being said I purchased a HB 999 to assist me on the water. The first time I went out the DI worked fine, but I was losing power to the unit whenever I turned the motor on. I bought a new battery and connected the unit directly to the battery with an inline fuse. My issue now is that my DI shows up in the background, but is unreadable as the front is covered in white lines (see attached image). Any help would be greatly appreciated in regards to this issue or general tips on how to get the most use out of the unit.

Thanks!

This is a known issue in the DI view of the newer software versions...(HB is working on it)...

*Press "View" until you see a full screen DI view...
*Then press Menu to open the DI Xpress menu
*Cursor down to the DI Enhance submenu...
*Cursor right to open the DI Enhance menu...
*Turn off Sharpness...

Thanks Rickie!

Have a great 4th of July weekend and best of luck if you hit the water.
