In the HELIX series  ...:

*G1 is the original HELIX that replaced the numbered series core units  ... G1 units came in 5", 7", 9", 10", and 12"  ... Only the 9", 10" and 12" G1 are Ethernet capable  ... Only 12" G1 had CHIRP 2d  ...  Only 9", 10, and 12" G1 have AutoChart Live  ...

*G2 and G2N are 2nd generation HELIX that replaced the G1 series  ...these also come in 5", 7", 9", 10", and 12"  ... Only the 7" G2N, and all 9", 10" and 12" are Ethernet capable  ... There is also a 5" G2 and 7" G2 that are not Ethernet capable  ... All G2 and G2N have CHIRP is all Sonar technologies capable in that specific model  ... All G2 and G2N have AutoChart Live  ...
