Humminbird PC Connect Cable to setup NMEA
« on: March 02, 2014, 12:10:52 PM »
I have an 898 Humminbird and have been using DrDepth for a couple of years with the SD card but now, I want to use a P.C. and setup NMEA.  I have searched both DrDepth and Humminbird but cannot find what cable to use and how to exactly to set this up.  I would appreciate any help setting this up?

Hi Batram

Welcome to the forum :)

If you have DrDepth SS, so you can connect your 898 via ethernet cable to the PC (description of itself make the cable you can find in the help function of DrDepth). Otherwise, you can use the NMEA output (pictail) on your unit, plus there are several of answer precisely postings. Just use the search function of this forum.
