Title: linking 1198 and 859

looking to get a unit for the bow will these two link. and does it have built in gps

There are several possibilities here beertech.  What sort of sonar are you wanting and how large of a display?
Whatever you get you will need the AS-ETH-5PXG 5-Port Ethernet Switch and connection cables for this.

sorry should have mentioned i have an 1198 on dash looking for a unit for bow.  really dont need si or di but would like built in gps antenana.,   does an 859 have a built in antenna

Yes...all the xx9 series Combo units have internal GPS antenna...

Sure do, and I think one would look very nice next to my 899 on the bow.....   :P ;)
