455 has a beam 86 degrees wide.  this covers the top to the bottom.    the 800 has a beam of 55 degrees wide and covers more of bottom and less of the top.  As hendrik said.  a clearer picture.

Is anyone successfully using the 800 khz for SI imaging?

Mine works great in 455, but when I switch to 800, its gets way too dark to read anything.

Ive tried adjusting the sens, but that doesnt help much.

Hate to see her go, but love to watch her leave.

Try the contrast and the brightness setting on the sonar menu.   Chuck
