depth alarm

I have a question about depth alarm i have mine set to 8 feet fresh water sometimes when sitting still or moving my depth alarm goes off even thought i am at depths to 200ft a  that time this seems to be getting worse when i look at 2d sonar its just blank every thing else is working great all sitings are default also when this happens i can reboot the unit by turn it off then on it reads right depth

If you are fishing in saltwater try adjusting the Water Type menu to salt water or salt water deep.  Otherwise try adjusting the Surface Clutter menu.

thanks for info figured out the problem was in fresh water was heavy boat traffic that day even thought transducer never came out of water was ruff and waves was hitting me parell
