I posted this question previously with ZERO response. Somehow I can't believe that no one is using this feature. I have made a number of Autochart Live recordings and like the tool because you can see the path that you have recorded on your screen. It overlays my LakeMaster map on my Helix and could be a very useful tool except for two issues.
1. I have not been able to edit or even open these ACU files in Autochart Pro.
2. I can't figure out how depth adjustment works with AutoChart live files. Is AutoChart Live taking its depth adjustment from the Helix and using that. If I make sonar or Side Imaging recordings they ignore the depth adjustment in the Helix and I must enter the correction in Autochart Pro otherwise things get really screwed up.
If anyone is using Autochart Live I'd like to hear from you if you have answers for these issues.

I just bought a helix 9 mega. I will be out with it on March 8 to the 13. When I am out on the lake if I can I will let you know how its going. Internet is not on the camping list where I am going. I am interested in the live AC also.

I have been using auto chart pro, and just purchased a Helix 10 G2n Mega unit to have auto chart live available. How have you guys liked it so far?

I like AutoChart Live but as I said in this original post I apparently can not edit these files in AutoChart Pro. As I have worked with AC-Live more I realized that many of my concerns are addressed within the program itself on the Helix. I still can't figure out how to eliminate a bad section of a recording for instance.
I have just traded boats and have not had the time to install my Helix on the new ride yet. Looking forward to getting this done and getting my Helix back on line.

When I first bought Auto Chart Pro I had a devil of a time. I bought the training cds for it. Also have you done the up date to your pro yet. My live was not working properly till I did. I haven't tried to Edit anything as of yet. I am still trying to get my feet wet with all of this. But I did get my live recordings on my pro and back onto my zero lines card. Going back out hopefully Saturday to record some more for trying out different things with my Auto Chart pro.

I ordered the training dvds. They also said the next product they are working on is an ACL tutorial. At work until the end of the month, can not wait to get home and play with all this.

Lake Images really helped me a lot. I do think that Auto Chart is a great program, but needed more training help for us that are challenged. I bought all three CDs.

I bought all 3 as well. I am usually pretty good with technology, but there might be something that I missed or did not know.

Glad to see its not just me. Im a techy but wtf. Cant figure out how to view and work with my .ACU files either on autochart pro. Feeling like I wasted my money on the pro after a night of futility reading the pro manual and going back and forth from my boat to my desktop.
Made some progress. I spoke a little too soon. My trip out to the boat to export data did actually apparently do something since re-importing the files I now have the data on the desktop map. I see not though it I wanted side imaging etc that it needed to be recorded and this data is not automatically recorded when using autochart live? Not sure I want to manage all the extra recordings to get the additional info. Mainly I need to create charts as I live in Canada and lakemaster does not provide Canadian Maps so ipilot link is only usable up here with autocharts. That was the main reason for the upgrades to the Helix. I do really like the mega SI and upgrades of the Helix though
