Title: Deleting waypoints
Post by: graggy on January 10, 2019, 06:16:25 AM
I have a 1199 and have a lot of waypoints marked on different lakes. Is there an easy way to get rid of certain ones and keeping others without doing them individually. Are they stored on the sd card in the unit oron the unit itself? If on the card can I take the card out and put it on my computer and delete them ?

Load Humminbird PC on to your computer from the Humminbird Website (free).

Download All your waypoints onto a SD card. Upload the contents of the SD card onto your computer. Review you waypoints in HB PC. Review and Edit the waypoints (delete etc).

Clear the SD card and Humminbird Head Unit. Copy the save waypoints back onto the SD card. Upload the modified SD card data back onto the the head unit.

Take your time, look at the waypoint in Google Earth. Have fun. Sound more complicated than it is.
