797cSI transducer
« on: May 30, 2013, 03:12:37 PM »
Well I've narrowed down my  problem of only getting a 1/2 si screen and the loss of my 2d image to a bad transducer.  Does anyone know what P/N I should get for a replacement?

Thanks....
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

The standard transom mounted Compact Side Imaging (CSi) transducer for the 797c Si units is the XNT-9-Si-180-T.

Many instead use the larger and more expensive XHS-9-HDSi-180-T transducer for the better Si sonar resolution it will have – but some cannot see this difference in resolution on the smaller displays of their 797, 798 and 598 units.
