Quite a debate going there.   

I need to see how good crappie show up in tree tops with my 1197....One of the new DI units could be in my future for the TM.

i allso am thinking of buying one for my trolling motor. those pictures look pritty good. i like the 2d over di view

Yes that is a very nice view.

Wayne has posted some images from his 798ci si that has the 2D over the DI, and I like that even better.

I think the 798 is the only one with this view, but not sure.

The 2d over Di view is with the smaller screen units only.  The 898 and up are all wide screen so the view is side by side.  They do have a 2d over DI in the 3 way view though.
