Does your Helix read depth when you are on plane? At WOT? How fast can you go before you lose the DI or SI image?
It appears to me that the transducer is too low in the water. Adjusting transducers can be a pita. I start by using a straight edge on the bottom of my boat to insure that the bottom of the transducer is riding just slightly below the bottom of the hull. Potentially as important is the angle of the transducer relative to the angle of the boat at fast idle. Here is a link to an excellent YouTube video on leveling transducers. I had no idea how critical this was until I followed the instructions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuYsmJRc_fE&t=10sI have no rooster tail or water plume and my Helix SI/DI transducer reads perfectly at all speeds up to and including WOT at 50+mph.
