360 Trolling Motor Ethernet Question
« on: December 24, 2013, 09:09:23 AM »
I have an 1197 and 1198 connected by ethernet.   I see that the new AS 360 TM unit connects via ethernet.   I don't see an adapter for this at Humminbird's web site, so am I going to have to disconnect the two units so that I can connect the 360?

you can install the 5 port switch and have all of them connected at the same time.  http://store.humminbird.com/category/629917/Switch

I guess you already know the 1197 won't work with the 360?

Thanks for the info.   Yes, I know the 1197 won't work.   I moved it to the heml for side image recordings, etc.    Took the boat out this afternoon and really love the 360!!!   This is what I have been waiting for, for many years!

I went out today and ran all units except the radar. It seems that there are several area of concern. The new I pilot link head does not function as crisp as the original i pilot. It does not hold the cruse control like the original head. If you set cruise at .5 the unit will not settle in, it might go to 1.2 or slow to .2 or less and does not seem to want to recover and come back to the target speed. The function light on the 1199 are not lit. Leaving the dock in dark at 5:30 this morning I had to use falshlight to operate. The volume or sound would not chime with fish ID and fish id alarm on. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks
