« on: May 15, 2012, 03:18:24 PM »
Trying to decide if i should download 6.180 from 5.7 on my 1198.  Are people still having issues with the 6.180?
Thanks

The only issue I see now on my 898 is if you try to cycle through the different views too fast it will reboot on you.

Rough House:
I think if there is a problem with a particular update, then it will stay a problem until
Humminbird fixes it, and puts the fixes out in a newer update.

I don't think that Humminbird will fix problems in an update and put it back out
with the same version number on it.

I may be wrong, but I don't think so.

Rough House
        I have 6.18 installed on a 998. I'm going back to 5.700 when I can get a copy.

Mike, I have 5.5 in the downloads.  If you get a copy of the 5.7 send it to me via transferbigfiles.com.  I will put it in the library..

offroad,
What you are seeing may be the new Auto Zoom Range feature.  Try going to the Chart menu tab and setting the “Auto Zoom” menu to the “Off” setting.
