798 speed

hey wanted to know what settings do you mess with to get your si to run at slower speeds. my boat is electric only and i've seen some of the snapshots with the gps reading 2 to 3mph.....does anyone know how this is achieved?

set chart speed to boat speed,if thats what you wanted to know

I think that most will slow the Chart Speed menu setting down to match the boat speed while others like to leave the Chart Speed at a faster setting.  It really depends on what you are trying to so with the Si sonar.

well my problem is when the boat is traveling at 2 to 3 mph my picture is very light....light no image is coming through when i increase speed the picture comes into focus?

maybe outside chance he has transducer out of water and when he powers up ,sets transducer back down in water.
