Hi Dennis

Welcome to the forum ;)
1) You need the VC1 Cable from Humminbird. A waterproof TV is not known to me but there are several of suppliers of waterproof laptops.
2) When sufficient Win XP operation systems or any later version. The laptop has no video input, you need a USB video grabber.

The idea of a waterproof sunlight viewable external monitor has been discussed many times since SI hit the market...

So far I remember not one that has found a cost efficient alternative...

Most find that by the time a monitor is found that is both waterproof and sunlight viewable...it's cheaper to just buy a second unit...

Now if you're wanting to simply have a bigger image while viewing at home...like Rudiger mentioned...you will need the HB VC1 cable...
