transducer select
« on: October 17, 2011, 04:44:30 AM »
Hi, i`m trying to find out some info on which setting i should put my transducer on,in the sonar set up menu there is the option "transducer select",there are 7 set up options;hi-def sidescan, compact sidescan, sidescan, quad beam, dual beam, dual 50/200,universal sonar. Can some one please either tell me where i can find some info on this or please explain which one i should be using, am i suppose to be switching between them for different sonar choices,ie;sidescan,2D, down scan or do i just leave it on the one setting for all?I am fishing in saltwater in a max depth of 35ft if this helps thanks in advance.

With the High Definition Side-Scan option, you
will have everything 2d, Side-Scan, DownScan.

The one you need to use should be the default
options for your unit.
