Just want to thank Greg for telling me to try fixing my 788 HD DI lower range setting. I was losing bottum in 2 feet or less and it would flash the right depth and go back to the wrong depth.
So greg told me to put the lower range setting to 10 feet when I am in shallow water like 4 feet and take it out of auto. That worked last weekend. So I will keep a eye on it.
I have two uints running a 997 si in back and a 788HD DI in front. Lower range setting on the 788 on 10 feet and the 997 is set to auto and all is good so far.

PS I downloaded the new update for the boat icon on the chart veiw. So I will see if any changes for that next time out.
