Humview GPS format
« on: August 10, 2009, 12:58:48 PM »
It might be nice to have decimal degrees as an option for displaying GPS location.  DD.DDDDD   a fice position readout for a 1.5 foot change in the 5th decimal.  Easier to relocate that way.  I have trouble playback readout on the 1197 and the same in Humview readout not being the same.  Just a thought for future editions.

Sonar

Seems tonite I'm replying to your posts. I have a 798ci and my output for everything is set to decimal degrees. I set it that way in the setup menu. Not sure how the 1197 setup is constructed but probably the same. Look for it, unfortunately I don't have neither my book or the unit here; in the barn. Also make sure that you are set for "WSG 84" output.

Hi Chuck
I am working on making the output format of e.g. the GPS position configurable, so it will be included in the next version.

Just, please dont ask when the next version is released ...  :)
