Solix Thru Hull Transducer Angle
« on: May 04, 2018, 02:30:43 AM »
Hi, looking for some advise,  below is a photo of the Solix xpth 14 20 msi T.
As the top edge and bottom edge of the transducer are not parallel to each other, can someone please advise which side should be used to set the transducer level to create the best image and object location.

Thanks in advance

Nick

I had an error on your page Rickie, maybe this was the page you were referring to? Section #3 on the first page deals with I believe his question. Seems to matter what the deadrise is above 2 or below in degrees? It looks like they are using the top surface to me.

Yes your link is the link I was trying to use  ...

Seems that the block should be cut to allow the bottom face of the xducer to be parallel to the water's surface - thus posting the SI piezoes straight down  ...
