I just completed a dual transducer install on the front of my boat. I am using a Podunk mount system I bought from him last year. I had a si ducer  that came with my 899.(I could have traded it in for the HD version). I added a DI ducer on top, installed the TS 3 switch. If you want I can send some pics when I get back from my trip this weekend.

so, as rnvinc said, my  981c SI came stock with the XHS 9 HDSI 160 T, which is no longer made. Well, I just found a used XHS 9 HDSI 180 T ... the price is great. Can anyone please tell me if it will work with my 981c SI?

The 455kHz imaging frequency will work ...

The 262kHz imaging frequency in the 981 will most likely not give very good results ...
