waypoint symbols

New to the Solix (from Garmin GPSmaps) and would like to customize waypoint symbols. ex: rocks, trees, weeds, fish. How do I do that in Solix 12 G3?
Also in the GPSmap Garmin 8612 svx I can designate depth ranges by color. I generally use 10 different colors representing 5' increments. Is that possible with Solix?

Sorry to interrupt,  I have not been fishing for 2 years plus.  I am looking to update my Solix 15 g2 unit.  My last update was 3.890 and current software is 4.070.  Need tie in between updates. 

Where are the Solix up dates located?

I missed this post back in September somehow  ...

Press and hold your finger on the waypoint in the Chart view  ... it should give you options  ...
