Matt, when i open the upgraded application it tells me that my data logs have to be reformatted. This is said to take a considerable period of time. Care to define considerably more specifically? It's been 4 hours now for about 6 gig'
. Is this normal?

Ken - that sounds extreme!
The update to 1.7 required a re-import of all sonar logs, so the time taken is (should be) roughly the same amount of time that it would take to import the files. 6GB is not a very large number of sonar files - I would have guessed on average that this operation should have taken less than 10 minutes.
Hard to say what might have been going on without further info, but do come on over to the RM forum (http://reefmaster.com.au/index.php/forum/index) if you have any further questions. Our forum is very active and you'll likely get a quicker answer to questions than you would here.
