xhs 9 HDSI 180 T on a trolling motor?
(1/1)
leeland:
Hello all,
I am looking for feedback on the best approach for mounting a transducer on the TM. I recently picked up a second locator (1189c SI) and plan on moving my 898c SI to the bow of my boat. I have the xhs 9 HDSI 180 T transducer available to mount on the TM, I just need to figure out the mounting method (using a transducer saver or a different bracket like the AD STM 7)
Currently I have a motor guide W75. I also read about the Xtm 9 Si 180 T which looks like the same transducer except for a TM. The transducer I got was second hand but was a spare so it is basically brand new...I have read that there was a possible trade in option but I am not entirely sure if I could do that with my second transducer I picked up.
Any comments / input is really appreciated as I have read a bunch of posts and want to try to get as much guidance on the pieces to get before I start to assemble.
Thanks in advance,
Lee

XTM 9 SI 180 T is the trolling motor puck version of the XNT 9 SI 180 T compact SI xducer ...
XHS 9 HDSI 180 T is the Hi-def SI xducer - which has longer SI piezoes and will get somewhat better SI images than either version of the compact SI xducer I listed above ...
There is XTM 9 HDSI 180 T which is the same xducer as XHS 9 HDSI 180 T but comes with the AD STM 7 trolling motor bracket instead of transom hardware ...

There is this option for cable management on an electric steer TM ...

You may need to contact them to see if any of their models will fit your specific TM ...
