New member here. I love this forum.  great info and appreciate all of your contributions.

I have looked at a lot of posts about the best way to make this work.  I am looking for anyone out there that uses the 'mack daddy' transducer for this unit and the best approach at mounting this transducer to the Riptide Terrova. I have the adapter but am looking at how to run the cable (in the grove? external?) I am looking for your experiences on this type of motor with the sliding shaft.  The Solix is in the front of the boat and my 1199hdsi is at the console.
