Welcome!

Sorry only vidio out.

BUT!!!!!!

Take a loptop Windows XP or Windows 7.
HB vidio out to laptop in one window and Drop Cam in one window on the screen at the same time and the screems can be recorded to the hard drive and saved.

I use this set up all the time for wreck hunting, It may sound like a mess but it works well!!!!

My system: HP Pavilion dv7-6178us Entertainment PC.
                 Windows 7 Office Pro
                 8g,1t,i7.
                 HB 1198 all updates
                 TM mount HDSI 180 xducer
                 TS3 Switch
Tow Fish Seavue Drop Cam with a HB HDSI 180 mounted to the underside and 100m Tow cable on a takeup cable reel.

Some how it all WORKS!

Thank´s for your replies.
I`m also building a tow fish for sidescan, I do get to much noise on the 60 m cable I use - useless...
What kind of cable should I use ?
Any special setup in the HB menu when towing a fish with long cable ?

Jens

Hi Jens

In this forum you can find a lot of solutions about towfish building.
Some of us use Cat.6 or Cat.7 networkcable.
There are no special setups necessary.
