Title: Humminbird Select and New Software releases

I got an email from Humminbird Select yesterday, telling me that there is recently released software for my 998 that has Waypoint Management feature. I went to my account and it still is V5.700 dated  . 898c SI (version 5.700 - 0 bytes)

I noticed 6speedy3 posted the same thing over in the 997/998 forum.
 Is Humminbird Select a little premature in sending out the email notices. OR slow to upload to the accounts?

I actually downloaded it again and it's the same file size as it was, so me thinks the emailer was a little quick on the trigger.

The waypoint update is for the Humminbird PC.  After loading to your computor you can use a SD card to implement onto your 998.

HB Select notified me of the 5.7 update for my 898 back in the summer. then they notified me of the HB PC 4.18. So this latest notification was just an itchy trigger finger on the email switch guys that's all. Don't read more into it than it was.
